CALL FOR PAPERS (deadline 31th October, 2022) 18th February, 2022 – Politecnico di Torino (Valentino Castle)

The theme of stairs (and their contemporary counterparts, such as escalators, elevators, ramps), addressed at its roots by the unforgettable international conference held in Tours in 1979 (later published in “The Staircase in Renaissance Architecture,” Picard 1985), aims to be further explored here within the context of construction and techniques, from the modern age to the contemporary era.
Please submit your proposal (maximum 2,000 characters), which will be reviewed by the organizers of the event and the CHG board.
